I've been hiding something from a good number of you for as long as we've known each other. It's something I haven't told alot of people, because I've been afraid of the negative reactions I might get from some. Some of you I've told already and explained, but most of you I haven't said anything to.

My big secret? Well, let's just put it this way -- there's a reason I play female characters, and it's not because I just wanna see a nice ass on my screen. To put it siimply, I'm transgendered.

This isn't a late April Fool's joke, or a prank, or anything. I'm being serious. It's something that I've kinda known my entire life, but I didn't put a word to it until I was 13 -- when my mom got our first computer and we got the internets.

What's this mean for people who actually know me? Prolly not much, unless you know me in real life. And even then, it only means you have to shift names and pronouns. I plan on presenting myself almost fulltime as female. As much as I can, anyway.

If this makes you guys think any less of me, then so-be-it. I've felt my entire life that putting up a male front was a farce -- that I've been lying to myself. So, in short, it's finally time for me to be true to me. To live life how I want to, and not be "restricted by the wrong body."

To those who will stick by me as a friend through my transitioning, thank you, you guys rock. ^^ To those who are "kinda okay, but it's weird" for you, I can understand.

Oh, and before I forget... Just because I'm coming out and saying I'm transgendered Male to Female doesn't automagically mean I'm into guys. So, as a girl, I'm into girls.

And also, no, I'm not gonna be one of those weirdo super-weird transwomen/crossdressers who think that in order to be female, you have to wear ribbons and bows and dresses and be super-pink and frilly and put on caked-on makeup, etc etc etc. I'm still me. The same ol' normal weird Aya I've always been.

So yeah. That's that. If you guys have any questions about things, please, please please please feel free to ask, and I'll answer as best as I can.

(You guys have NO idea how scared I am of bad reactions to things -- especially about this. And no idea how hard it was for me to sit down and type this.)
